your heart beat, which in turn will calm you down.

state

do when a panic attacks first starts. In conjunction with deep breathing. If you have had panic attacks before,
then you know they do end. Get a picture clear in your mind of the panic attack stopping, at the same time tell
yourself that you have had these attacks before and everything was alright, it doesn’t last. This will reinforce
the deep breathing and bring the attack to a speedy end.
