Learn How To Deal With
Anxiety By Using Proven Strategies
Knowing how to deal with
anxiety is easy to learn but hard to put into practise. Anxiety is something we all have to deal with
in one form or another. It’s a problem that no one really likes to talk about in case they are looked on by
their friends and family as a burden.
Most people will let their anxiety build up
inside them but it will always show itself in some way. Anxiety is a psychological
and physiological state, characterized by
cognitive, somatic, emotional and behavioural components which combined to create feelings associated with
uneasiness, fear and worry.
Anxiety is classed as a generalized mood
condition that occurs without an emotional trigger to start it off.
The first thing you need to learn about how to
deal with anxiety is to understand the type of person you are. We have probably all heard the saying he or she is a
worrier or the ones who think if it happens it happens. Two types of very different personalities. Both could be
facing the same problems but only one is able to deal with theirs without a black cloud hanging over their heads.
So knowing yourself is the first step in building a emotional frame that you can work in.
These two types of personality, the worrier
and the so be it type will probably end up in the same boat. It is no good saying it happens it happens
and burying your head in the sand, your problems will still be there, just as it is no good worrying yourself
to death. Action is the key word for both cases. Take action and deal with your problems head on. It is a proven
way to deal with anxiety. It helps your mind to find ways to solve your problems or putting them in order so that
they can be dealt without the stress.

Confront Your Fear
Head-On
Most peoples anxiety has to be pretty bad
before they do anything about it. But one fact is and a most important one at that, which is this “no one
has problems that they cannot deal with” you may not be able to solve your families or your friends
personal problems but you do have within you a deep strength that once tapped into can let you do almost anything
in life and that is also to solve any anxieties you have.
The human body was built for stress. Just look
at what a human can do. We can live in nearly all places on this earth, hot or cold, wet or dry, we have succeeded
with sometimes against great odds, so dealing with anxiety is nothing new, we are built to handle it.
Whenever you feel that you are experiencing
unreal fear you then don’t react in the normal way which is to fight off the fear; instead you must accept your
fear and observe what it makes you do and you should also look at your fear with curiosity and not with
apprehension. Looking at your fear in this way will draw on that inner strength that has been developed in us over
the thousands of years man has walked the earth, so use it. Anxiety is grown out of fear of the unknown. Once we
confront our fear then we can start to deal with it. Ralph Waldo Emerson said “ Do the thing you are afraid
to do and the death of fear is certain” So Face your fear and how to deal with anxiety wont be a question
you will need to ask anymore.
